I use Fastmail which has a masked email service. If I am not sure I will want to continue receiving a newsletter or using a service I create a masked email and use that. If I no longer find the newsletter or service useful, I can either block the masked email or delete it entirely and voila. They don't have my real email address and I no longer receive their spammy emails. Win for me, lose for them but who cares.

I used to use an email forwarder called Bigfoot. It worked until it didn't and then I had to deal with the problem. I had to change all of the actives Bigfoot addresses. This is why I won't use an email forwarder. I especially won't use one I have to pay for.
