Do you ever plug it into USB? That can cause this. (Rebooting before plugging in USB usually prevents problems with this bug.)
If you aren't using usb with the device, possibly the internal SD card in the device is having hardware issues.

I was only using USB to modify the .conf file so that it synchronizes with my local Calibre server. Everything else was done over network. I wasn't aware of this bug you mention, but the issues all seemed to start after about a week or so of use. Sometimes, I was able to get around it by forgetting all known networks, turning off Wifi, rebooting, and reconnecting. But usually, once I noticed that the Dropbox and Google Drive were missing, it wouldn't sync anything again until I did a factory reset. I did a full backup after the last factory reset, and will compare differences in the file system if it happens again.
But anyhoo, after the last reset, I installed NickelMenu and Koreader. So I've been using Wallabag (also hosted locally) as a Pocket replacement. So far, everything has been working flawlessly. If this keeps working with no issues, I'll be using Koreader exclusively. Fingers crossed.
