If not for the getting stuck when sliding back into the frame and the mysterious buttons not working due to too tight of a screw, it wasn't too difficult. If I have to replace this battery in the future or get another 505 with a shot battery it will go fine. It was deeply satisfying when I got those buttons to work though
I thought I'd have to make due with them not working.
