I'd never buy audio books now. In the past I'd occasionally listen to a book (not a dramatic production) on BBC R4 and then if any good I'd buy and read the book. I discovered decades ago I can't listen to an audio book and do something else, especially drive. My daughter reads a lot of Fantasy and prefers books to the Movie versions. She says her BGI is better than Hollywood CGI effects. Brain Graphical Interface.
The only other thing I can do while listening to an audiobook is take the dog for a walk. But I mostly listen before going to sleep while in bed. The GraphicAudio books are just like listening to a BBC R4 production.

The best productions BBC R4 ever did was the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy books.
