One thing that I think may do some difference (imho), is using some good keyboard instead membrane-based cheap ones that are common nowadays.
There are some mechanical buids, but there is a lot of just down-market around, and usually this kind of devices are pretty expensive.
Tho there are some old second hands that are fine, or excellent: even old keyboard based on membrane are way better than the ones tipically used today (eg: NMB ones); and a lot of mechanical others that would not cramp the fingers, while having a mechanism that consist on a spring under the caps, or several different kind of ways to activate the buttons (which then are personal preferences off course; the IBM model M is one of the most common: there was a lot of competition around those times).
