Sorry but as someone who owns both plus a Sage and several other ereaders, I don't find the screen on the Libra Colour to be inferior to the Libra 2. I do have to turn the screen brightness up to compensate for the darker screen due to the colour filter layer but once that is done, I find both equally usable though I prefer the Sage (these old eyes like a larger font size and the Sage lets me have that and what I consider to be a usable amount of text on the screen) for my day to day reading device. I no longer sit on the patio in sunlight due to worries about the UV exposure and I find that the larger battery in the KLC more than compensates for the increased battery drain (2050mAH vs 1420mAH so 44% more capacity).

As you said, YMMV.
