So I managed to write a shortened version of the 16 GB image file (HxD to cut off end of file, only keeping a total of the filesize that could be read from the 8GB) to the 8 GB sd card, and it boots. However, it is very slow compared to the previous card - probably the 8 GB "new" card is even older than what was built in.

Before I buy a new card - does anyone have experience what exactly the tolino page 2 can handle? I read on some sources that 32GB sd hc will work / is the max, but can it handle larger ones like sd xc?
