KOReader and WiFi on Pocketbook

Hi everyone,

I'm using the latest version of KOReader on my PocketBook Verse, and I’ve also experienced this issue with previous KOReader versions.

When I manually enable Wi-Fi from within KOReader, it connects successfully. However, even though I’ve configured KOReader to automatically turn off Wi-Fi when it’s no longer needed, the Wi-Fi stays on.

After a while, a long press on the physical button of my PocketBook shows that Wi-Fi is still active. But in KOReader’s network settings, it appears as disabled. To run a sync, I then have to manually re-enable Wi-Fi both in KOReader and on the device system.

It seems like KOReader’s Wi-Fi control is not properly synced with PocketBook’s system Wi-Fi, leading to inconsistent behavior.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a workaround or fix?

Thanks in advance!
