Just yanking your chain!  I can see syncing as a benefit if you have a Kindle at your place of employment and a different Kindle at home. Maybe not so much for a trek from downstairs to upstairs in your home, but to each their own. I supposed if I had multiple Kindles laying around and didn't really know what to do with them, I'd put one upstairs and one downstairs too. |
I do the upstairs/downstairs for a few reasons...the biggest one is because I *have* to hold on to the railing when going down the stairs, (my knees aren't reliable anymore when going down stairs...they sometimes just collapse on me) and one of my hands is carrying my water bottle. Since I do have multiple kindles, I'd rather leave one upstairs than take the chance of dropping it (or take the chance of not holding the railing because both hands are full)
I do also have one Kindle that lives in my bag and goes back and forth to work with me, in addition to the 2 that I use every day and night at home.
