1- Update Kindle firmware. I had to update to 4.1.2, then 4.1.3 and 4.1.4;
2- Uninstall Kual, if you have installed it;
3- Copy KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 to documents directory, if you haven't already.
4- I had also installed these DevCerts, not sure if that was needed. I saw a post on Reddit saying the keys have expired, so tried installing it.

I'm trying to make this Kindle Display with my old kindle: https://github.com/dennisreimann/kindle-display

To expand on this, as this didn't work for me, here is what I had to do to extend this.
1. Update to 4.1.4
2. Uninstall KUAL using the uninstall script
3. Download the latest version of KUAL that was released on the 19th of April. - This is the step that was screwing me over. I was using the version released immediately prior to this. It HAS to be the updated KUAL.
4. Remove the old KUAL file from my documents
5. Run the devcerts update
6. Add the new KUAL file to my documents
Thank you Smolreader for your guide as it finally let me get this thing working again. I had finally jailbroken this thing two days before this whole devcerts problem happened and it was finally a useful device again, only to be screwed by the devcerts issue.
Now, back to reading Manga.
