Maybe as it has no printed colour filter dots. The actual cells are cyan, yellow, magenta and white layers. It's really for shop / poster displays, but it seems that people are not worried about power consumption as the regular video panels are what retailers use. Dozens now in the local mini-supermarket, but the price labels are eink (often the ones with red, white and black).
However it's maybe x10 slower than eink greyscale, which is slower than pure black & white mode eink.
