The reference issues with libraries was a nice reminder of how US-centric much commentary is, as gaining library access was the major reason I switched from Kindle back in 2018. In Aotearoa, as in many other countries, there is no library access for Kindles, only Kobos - and indeed Kobo makes much of that feature ins marketing for those countries.
