8.3.0 Update/Load Doesn't Work?
I have only relatively recently installed Calibre and spent some time cleaning up the data. The other day I got a message to say there was a new version (8.3.0) which I downloaded - but it is not working/responding.
The download files appear to be complete but I cannot open Calibre. The icons and shortcuts do nothing, and even trying to open the exe file from the file location does nothing.
I am loathe to fiddle too much with it to start with, because of the effort I put in to cleaning up the data (but I guess that could be shot already).
I'm thinking I probably need to re-download, but I am also trying to figure out what could be causing this? I have W11 OS.
