Hi, I'm unable to open KUAL with my
PW1 with 5.6.1.1 firmware, started with the
"The permissions to open this item have expired. Please contact the developer." issue, then I:
- Downloaded the new
KUAL-v2.7.37-gfcb45b5-20250419 and replaced the
KUAL-KDK-2.0.azw2 with the new one;
- Downloaded the
DevCerts-20250419-KeyStore.zip, and copied the
Update_mkk-20250419-k5-ALL_keystore-install.bin to the kindle's root, but it does not show any new update at the "Update Your Kindle" menu (gray text button);
- Restarted the kindle and the file was removed, but when I tried to open KUAL, it showed the
"This item is not signed by an authorised developer. Please contact the developer”
- Tried the file again in the root and in the
mrpackages folder now searching for
;log mrpi but the problem persists and the file remains in the kindle.
I'm aware of the chaitanyaI solution, but I'm already with the 5.6.1.1 firmware, so I don't know what is the best thing to do to fix KUAL
