Hi there,
I had many Kindles since it first came out, a Nook (meh), and a BOOX Tab (loved it, but way too heavy to hold while reading). The penultimate eReader for me is the Kindle Oasis (ergonomic and ultra light with page turn buttons).
However there were things I didn't like about it (e.g. home screen recommendations, inability to change formatting without breaking DRM

). Once my Amazon account was suspended (no one could ever explain why

) and it took an email to Jeff Bezos to remedy that (back then you could actually email him and an assistant would answer you

). At that time I already had hundreds of eBooks and audiobooks in there.
That of course prompted me to take measures to ensure I'll never loose my purchases...
Anyway thanks to Winterbreak and KOReader (through which I found this forum), I am now in eReader heaven and my Oasis transformed into the most advanced maybe even perfect eReader. I've added the 'assistant' plugin (to query ChatGPT about words and phrases I don't recognize

) and already can't imagine living without it.
I read all my books with the Cochin font left aligned and otherwise prefer the Ubuntu font for Sans and UI and Ubuntu Mono for Monospaced text.
