Libra 2 Bricked, Options?
My otherwise excellently functioning Kobo Libra 2 froze while attempting to transfer books over a wireless Calibre connection to KOReader this afternoon and, when forcibly reset entered into the blank screen, blinking indicator cycle that apparently indicates that it is bricked. I've attempted power cycling it several times and manually factory resetting it according to the Kobo site. The only result being that it will flash a black screen and return to the previous state. It is well outside of warranty and customer support's consolation prize was $10 of store credit.
I'm just curious what the recommended options/procedure are for this. My cursory searching suggests that surgery (i.e. replacing the glued in microSD card with a newly flashed one) is the only option. Is there a recommended guide for this? Is there something else to try first? Does anyone want a Libra 2 for parts?
Thanks all. Also, I'm just going to assume this is the Libra's fault because I love KOReader and don't want to imagine that it will brick another ereader (but I'm disabling the Calibre plugin).
