Thanks! I just launched a new version (2025-05-03) with a lot of bugfixes. Would you mind checking if this is fixed now?

And thanks again! This one is weird, and probably still not fixed, but I'll keep investigating.

Right, it definitely would. I've moved this up on my list. Also, I have a plan to implement "wireless device" support, to let JetReader act as a connected device, so that you could do this kind of management wirelessly through Calibre. But that's a bit further into the future.

Interesting, I didn't know about these files. Will keep that in mind, thanks!

Agreed.

My vision (or at least how I use it) is to simply download all my books, and keep them on the device. Using the automatic Calibre synchronization, books I add to Calibre on my computer will be automatically downloaded to JetReader once a day. Then I use the Home page library row to show me my unread books, and pick the next book to read from there.
As mentioned, the main "Library" browser in JetReader is more complex than the Calibre Content server browser (which is the one you see when you connect to a Calibre content server). Once the books are on your device, I can do a lot more with them, and among other things the full library browser supports filters and "drilling down".
The reason behind the simplified Calibre content server browser is just that I simply didn't consider the need for "complex" filtering and searching there, since I only use it to download all my books, and then browse them locally instead. But as mentioned previously, I want to improve on this in a future version.
Thanks again for your feedback, and to everybody else who has sent me bug reports and improvement suggestions, both here and on e-mail. Very useful!
