Thank you, this worked.
For other noobs like me:
1-
Update Kindle firmware. I had to update to 4.1.2, then 4.1.3 and 4.1.4;
2- Uninstall Kual, if you have installed it;
3- Copy KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 to documents directory, if you haven't already.
4- I had also
installed these DevCerts, not sure if that was needed. I saw a post on Reddit saying the keys have expired, so tried installing it.
