Last week, I discovered that Kindles can be jailbroken. It made me very excited, so I promptly bought one. However, despite spending several hours, I failed to jailbreak it.
My Kindle is Kindle Touch (4th Generation) running FW 5.3.7.3.
1. I factory resetted the device.
2. I registered it with my Amazon credentials.
3. I tried the WinterBreak method.
It is supposed to work on every device, right?
3.1. I disabled Wi-Fi.
3.2. I rebooted
3.3. I moved WinterBreak files (including
.active_content_sandbox) to the root folder of my Kindle.
3.4. I ejected and unplugged my Kindle.
3.5. I opened Kindle Store and accepted to turn on Wi-Fi. Nothing happened, no
Mesquito image.
4. I tried the K5 Jailbreak method.

6.4. I tried to open it and I get

It was suggested to either install
MKK or to try
