All you need to do is copy the KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 file to your documents folder. The .bin installer shouldn't be used.
You may be able to fix it by running the uninstall.bin file from the KUAL archive.

Hello, I'm a total noob here. I have a Kindle 4.1.1 (non touch).
I have installed kual using the .bin installer, then copied KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 to document, but when i try to open it, I get:

I then read your comment and thought the issue was that I shouldn't have installed it. So I ran uninstall, but I still have the same issue.
Also tried installing the hotfix bin (I didn't know which I should've used), but apparently it is not compatible with my device, because it does not enable the "Update your Kindle" menu item.
Can you give me a hand here? Thank you
