In your opinion. Plenty of people have had Kindles and changed to Kobo. It's certainly not inferior if you only read on one device or don't wish to give ebooks to Amazon, and you can't sync Kindle only format ebooks not sold to you by Amazon.

Also the majority of people don't use eink at all for ebooks, they read on one app on one phone.
