This worked! Thank you so much.

I installed and ran KUAL-v2.7.35-g2d06358-20250103/Update_KUALBooklet_v2.7.35_uninstall.bin — i.e. the version corresponding to what I installed before.

I downloaded DevCerts-20250419-KeyStore.zip, unzipped it, installed and ran Update_mkk-20250419-k4-ALL_keystore-install.bin

I downloaded KUAL-v2.7.37-gfcb45b5-20250419.tar.xz, unpacked it and copied KUAL-KDK-1.0.azw2 into the Kindle /documents folder...

I restarted, and now when I click on the KUAL book, it works!
