Hmm... When the previous authoritarian crisis of Amazon occurred (Jan. '23), I did try the Bluestacks method, but it turned out to be a notch too complicated for poor little not-very-technical old me (there was always at least one small detail or other that didn't work), so I was more than glad when the "From KFX" Calibre add-on became available.
Now I'll just wait and see and be careful avoiding any e-books published later than the cut-off date.
I don't know whether some Guardian Angel is currently working on that or considering doing so - of course, if Amazon keeps hardening its paranoid systems, that makes it prettty much a desperate fight - but all the more reason, for some opinionated persons, to keep fightng it...
