Why do you prefer Kindle over Kobo? What annoys about Kobo?
I concluded years ago that this is hardcoded into the Kindle reader. Likely if jailbroken and KOReader is used is the only bypass.
This, plus Collections, Metadata, Series and better annotations (inc "clippings") was why I switched to Kobo years ago. I still have 4 Kindles, only used for tests and purchasing Amazon Exclusives.
