In the interim, I have installed Wallabag in a docker container - for now only accessible locally, and so would need further work.
I also tried adding an RSS feed of a 'collection' of articles in Raindrop.io. This would be very user friendly in terms of sharing things from the phone to Raindrop.io and thus to that RSS feed, but unfortunately the KOreader RSS/news reader seems rather buggy - have experienced a couple of instances where my feeds configuration file got corrupted. And I don't really like the interface of reading every article as a book anyway.
