This is by design. The plugin only updates the current year information. This is done everytime you interact with it. It would become really slow to keep updating the whole database. Previous years and abandoned books are not updated.
So, you should choose a column and stick with it.
Although you can keep chaging the column while in the current year, it will become fixed after December 31. |
