If your device has buttons there is also holding down buttons while it reboots.
A manufacturer can put whatever trickery they like in.
I've seem where you have to tap the top left and top right corners alternately.
I've seen where you have to send more than 50 (but less than 100) VT-100 backspaces to a UART.
They can also remove any shortcuts.
If you're really getting nowhere, you can open the case.
But I've seen both trivially easy and very sneaky EDL test points.

Yeah. The method work ok, i try again and it's ok (just have to hold the short button like 5 sec). It talks firehose now. When i try to make a raw backup
it returns
Code:
Found EDL 9008, configuring... ok
Requesting info on LUN 0...
<log value="ERROR: Failed to open the SDCC Device slot 0 partition 0" />
<log value="ERROR: Failed to open the device:1 slot:0 partition:0 error:0" />
<log value="ERROR: OPEN handle NULL and no error, weird 203949076" />
<log value="ERROR: Failed to open device, type:eMMC, slot:0, lun:0 error:3" />
Nope
Any ideas?
