ouch. I hadn't registered that a new firmware was out. My PW5 is on 5.18.1. But I do wifi connect it because I use it with KU. I guess I could go ahead and force the update and see what happens? For science. Because I still have a K4BNT that gets azw3 so I'm good even if 5.18.2 breaks importing to Calibre.

edit: looks like I will have to manually download the new file and place it on my kindle. I took it off airplane mode and synced and restarted and synced, etc. and it says I'm up to date on 5.18.1. So we'll see if I get to it.
