I can't count how many times I have heard, 'I cleaned up my desktop and now I can't find X'

The Library (folder) is not something the user should need to touch (other than backup). Leave it out of sight.
. Everything a normal Library user needs done is done by Calibre...SAFELY, with all the 'T's' crossed and "i's" dotted as needed.
