Calibre supports collections on PocketBooks through a plugin
here. It looks like series can be done natively on the device along with authors, genres, favorites, and formats.
In terms of subtitle and blurb, I am not seeing that on the device itself. It might have that functionality, but I have never tried to use it, so I am not sure.
As for KOReader, there is a Calibre plugin called
koreader-calibre-plugin) that synchronizes metadata between Calibre and KOReader. I have not used this feature myself, but KOReader has collections (see the user guide
here), and it has Calibre metadata search built in.
