Are we thinking that the students won't have the option of using these PDF textbooks on both a laptop and the DX? Maybe the annotations would be made on a computer and that copy would be on the Kindle for quick reference (along with the .azw or .mobi textbooks).
My college days were pre-laptop (or home desktop), so my thinking may be way off.
