Actually there's a way to install the usbnetwork hack without KUAL. See
this post. That post also has a shortcut to change the time without even installing the hack. I also wrote up long and probably redundant instructions for how to use usbnetworking after installation
here if you don't want to use the bin file shortcut.
BUT: It looks like NiLuJe updated the KUAL files here and also attached updated certifications
here, which should make all of this unnecessary
