More than a year ago,
a review made me want to read a book, but I found that author only sold her books on Amazon, and I don't buy from there. I emailed her and asked about other sellers, she answered that she had no current plans to extend beyond Amazon (because it felt like too much work/hassle/difficulty to be worth it). I registered for her newsletter just in case.
In her latest newsletter she wrote that she's hired an assistant and that her books are now appearing elsewhere! So now Bezos' market dominance is a tiny bit smaller, and I can read a book I'm curious about
