Koreader or even the Kobo base reader both read perfectly cbz and cbr files. No need to convert to epub. Sideload can be done via Calibre or like a USB stick (you just plug you reader on your computer via USB and copy/paste your files inside).
While for browsing, sorry I can't answer, I've never heard about it.
