3. I've safely ejected the device, as expected, the device has rebooted as if it was installing a software update
4. There is no /mnt/onboard/.niluje folder (so I'm getting the "command not found" error when I'm trying to use jq)

I'm using a KL2 with the latest firmware update, I also have kfmon and nickelmenu installed.
Thank you!!!
I tried this on a Kobo Libra Colour. I downloaded kobo-stuff-1.6.N-r18901.tar.xz and then opened it with 7Zip (Windows). I dug down to the KoboStuff directory and extracted that to a local hard drive. I then connected my KLC and copy/pasted the KoboRoot.tgz file from the KoboStuff directory to the .kobo directory in the KLC. Safely ejected and it went into it's installing screen. After that finished and rebooted, the .niluje was present in the root of the exposed storage. Given that my KLC is likely to have issues with KoboStuff, I didn't do much testing. I did open a Telnet session using Putty and tried running jq and got it's help screen.
