Other than a couple of science related posts, I didn't participate that much in the Conservatory, but nevertheless I think it's too bad its closing. From what I had seen I enjoyed it. Maybe there were uncomfortable threads that I missed.
As far as individuals that are contentious -- I'm probably one of them. (It's my basic personality.)
I hope nobody takes anything I say personally, especially when I disagree with someone, as I really don't mean to disrespect anyone or their opinions, and even it if may not always show, I really am trying to be more empathetic and not so sarcastic. (Some individuals just set me off though.
