I'm the developer of a new Quick Look plugin for recent versions of macOS (including 13 Ventura, 14 Sonoma, and 15 Sequoia). It enables previewing and thumbnail generation directly in Finder for EPUB files and various other ebook formats to varying degrees (MOBI, DJVU, FB2, and CBZ).

I'd be happy to get your feedback and reports on files that don't work, as I'm actively improving the parsing.

Compatibility Note: DRM-protected ebooks are not supported, and occasionally files may fail to load. If you find a file that doesn’t preview correctly, send it over if possible so I can take a look.
