Lately, my price matches have turned around in less than a day, leaving time to buy a book at Amazon if necessary. But of course that's not certain. On the other hand, you've got a week to return a Kindle book, so you could just buy both and wait on developments.
It's all looking like too much trouble to me. I think if the Kindle price shows the dreaded digital discount, I'll go back to buying at Amazon and be done. I really don't care if I can't download/sideload/decrypt; I'll just read it on a Kindle. That's why I have them.
