I've seen Saturn/MediaMart doing some retrenching, cutting down the number of floors in some of their stores.
Still, it can't compare with Fry's Electronics during its death knell.
You'd walk through a gutted store and ask and they'd say, "Oh, no, we're not closing".
You were kind of waiting for them to say, "Alright, would you get the heck out of here, we're trying to remove the fixtures."
The future's here today. Soon it will be impossible to buy anything locally.
