Why do you need linkss folder in the first place?
You need to take a few steps back.
1) You need JB package from NiLuJe’s Snapshots thread (stickied in this forum)
2) You also need to install MKK package - make sure to choose the right bin file for your Kindle Model, read the readme.txt file carefully
3) Then, if all was installed well, you can install KUAL and then Screensaver Hacks, with their own methods. Also found in the Snapshots.
After that, you can use KUAL to set up Screensavers hacks. Of course, you need to provide your own screen saver files to Kindle
