I can't just say no, because I have on a couple of occasions. But it is very rare. I have repurchased <1% of the paper books I have owned. I can only think of three things: Lord of the Rings, Narnia, and Hitchhikers series which are all long-time favorites* and were on fantastic deals.
* Narnia was the first series I ever read on my own - my mom was reading it out loud to me around age 5 but wasn't going fast enough, so I took it and read it to myself. I've been hooked ever since.
