Yes, about 10 years ago I downsized most of my physical books and replaced them with digital copies, either immediately or by putting them on a wish list to buy when I wanted to read them. I donated most of the physical books, and reduced from 7 bookcases to 1.

I did keep the hard copies of a couple favorite authors, along with some travel and photo books that are better suited to print. Mostly I only buy ebooks now, but I do occasionally pick up new releases from favorite authors, or go hunting for special editions such as Lord of the Rings or classic novels.
