I was given a used paperback of Space by Michener over 30 years ago and had never gotten around to reading it. The ebook was on sale a few years ago and I snagged it, then read it last year.

Around 20 years ago I got a new hardcover of Guns, Germs, and Steel as a gift and abandoned it after a few chapters because it seemed repetitive. Around 10 years ago someone at work insisted that it is worth finishing. The ebook was on sale a few years ago and I snagged it, but haven't yet resumed reading it.

Since I didn't buy either paper version, I don't know whether either counts as a repurchase.

There may be others, but I can't think of any at the moment.
