Correct. (AFAIK they don't normally appear anyplace on the computer)
driveinfo is a device identifier to (possible multiple) Calibre installs
metadata.calibre was the inventory of books found on the device (enables the speedup of discovery. That must happen again if this file is gone and that takes a lot of time when the device has lots of storage)
