I've had no luck manually updating the original Scribe firmware to 5.18.1 . I'm using the latest RC for Sequoia. I have tried:

rebooting both devices
Send to Kindle
Kindle USB File manager
different cables (that I've tested for transfer and power)
OpenMTP
Android File Transfer
keeping Calibre open
keeping Calibre from running.

I have no problem connecting my oasis, it mounts and does it's thing.
I am able to 'see' the Kindle using Disk Utility but a partition is not mounted. Any ideas?
