The letters sort of "fade in and out"; with the naked eye, you can still see a little, but not as much as in the first video. As I said, this problem doesn't occur when I use KOReader, so I recorded the second video - this is how the Kindle behaved before the update. Or is KOReader working its magic? Or maybe I'm going crazy.

How is the ghosting in normal mode (not night mode)?
