Hmm, having trouble scraping off the waterproof coating to solder wires lol. I tried to just push the pins after scraping a bit but doesn't look like it connected so I'll have to try again later when I get time.
Just to be sure, what am I trying to get the boot log of? The non-working Inkbox image or the normal Kobo boot? If I connect to the USB serial to TTL with PuTTY when turning on the device there's a boot log output or do I need to hold a button?
