Same here, at least my Clara HD.

Device still works. I can still purchase books. As long as nothing breaks, I don't care. I set up a Rakuten/Kobo account from day 1 and never used SSO with a "Walmart" account, so there was no problem there. I'm still happily purchasing Kobo books directly from the app.

It is kinda weird that even when I buy books on my Sage or from the Android App, I still get a "Walmart" receipt in my email.

I guess if Kobo really wanted to, they could push out a firmware update that removes the vendor association in the conf file. I doubt they will, though.
