Remember, after you install RenameOTABin, you still need to open it and run Rename so that it takes effect. It will reboot after you select it.
I take from your response nothing I described is concerning and I can press ahead. Thanks for the confirmation and advice Frogm4n.

Edit: Ah I see renameotabin is covered in the next part of the guide which I had not gotten on to before today.
