I use a transparent back cover (Libra Color) or no cover at all (Libra 2). When stored or traveling, I do have a sleeve for each Kobo.
The Kindle (my previous purse device) I just let hang out without a case because my purses don't really have room for extra bulk. I always tried to keep it in its own pocket, and it never got a scratch on it.
I just like the way a naked ereader feels in the hand.
